Imposter Syndrome: How I Cope

As a business owner, mom, wife, and CEO, I know that I’m not alone in feeling the weight of responsibility. We’re often expected to be Superheroes, effortlessly juggling multiple roles and responsibilities while still managing to keep our sanity and energy levels in check. But let’s be real – it’s not always possible. And sometimes, the exhaustion and overwhelm can be overwhelming.

Conquering the Cycle of Burnout: How to Break Free

As I’ve navigated the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, motherhood, and leadership, I’ve come to realize that I’m not immune to burnout. In fact, I’ve been right in the middle of it, feeling like I’m just trying to keep my head above water. I think my biggest struggle is trying to balance it all..my business, my family, taking care of my body and mental health (late 30s are very much giving “my senora era”)…there is a laundry list of things I have to do to manage MY LIFE and I try to check of that list every single day.

But what I’ve learned is that it’s not about being weak or failure – it’s about acknowledging the reality and taking steps to reclaim my energy and well-being. When I look back on my past struggles, I realize that I was trying to do too much all at once. I was trying to balance my business, my family, and my own mental and physical health, all while maintaining a sense of control and perfection.

It’s no wonder I felt burnt out! But the truth is, no one is immune to burnout, and it’s not about being perfect or strong. It’s about acknowledging the reality and taking small steps to prioritize our well-being.

Embracing the Power of Imperfection: How to Rise Above Self-Doubt

As I’ve learned to navigate the challenges of burnout, I’ve come to realize that self-doubt and imposter syndrome are common experiences for many of us. We worry about being good enough, about being worthy, about being seen as capable. But the truth is, we’re all human, and we’re all going to make mistakes. And that’s okay! In fact, it’s okay to be imperfect. It’s okay to not have all the answers, and it’s okay to ask for help.

I’ve learned that it’s okay to not be good at everything, and that it’s okay to say no. I’ve learned that it’s okay to prioritize my own well-being, and that it’s okay to take breaks. And most importantly, I’ve learned that it’s okay to be me, with all my flaws and imperfections.

By embracing my imperfections and acknowledging that I’m not alone, I’ve been able to rise above self-doubt and imposter syndrome, and find a sense of peace and purpose in my life. So if you’re in the burnout boat with me but your also like “nah I fucking got this” know that I SEE YOU!
